Open Path Psychotherapy Collective

The Short Version

Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a way for individuals and those in a relationship to access affordable therapy in-person and online. There is a lifetime membership cost of $65. The cost of a session ranges from $30 to $70.

Who Is Open Path For?

Open Path is for clients who do not have insurance or are under insured, cannot afford market rates, and have an annual income below $100,000.

Benefits of Open Path

My Being Counseling is an Open Path Member Therapist because of the benefits it offers to those looking for counseling services.

  • Affordable Sessions. Sessions are $30 for student intern sessions. Pre-licensed and licensed therapist sessions are between $40 and $70.
  • Filter. The filters help make finding a therapist quick and easy. What are you looking for in a therapist? Are you looking for a therapist with a specific specialty?
  • Easy Sign-Up. Open Path does screen new members by asking about information such as address, insurance and financial information.

The Lifetime Membership Fee

There is a $65 lifetime membership fee that is paid when you apply on the Open Path Psychotherapy Collective page. Visit the Why Do We Charge A Membership Fee? page on the Open Path Collective Page to learn more.

Their page explains that as a non-profit the fee is used for marketing, recruiting of therapists, and to pay staff.

How To Book Open Path Appointment

Once the registration has been successfully completed, you will receive a membership ID number that you can then use with the Open Path Therapist.

You will need to reach out to the therapist to schedule an appointment. Appointments are based on availability.
